Microsoft has pounced on slumping Internet icon Yahoo with an unsolicited takeover offer of $44.6 billion, seeking to join forces against Google in what would be the biggest Internet deal since the Time Warner-AOL merger in 2001.
In the past Yahoo has declined offers from Microsoft but is now willing to carefully consider the bid.
Personlly I don't think this will effect Google as I think people will continue to use Google as their major Search Engine. If there is a way to screw this up then Microsoft would be the one to do it.

Put your best face forward and explain things about the topics that you care about. You want to have a broad audience so you have to know what you are talking about. Don't try to fake it cause your audience will know it right away.
